This is a brilliant animal. 8th Hara Jo, also known as Kuro is an intense Tosa-Inu. Kuro has proven himself in the ring while in Japan. Kuro has also proven himself as a sire and grandsire of many champions in Japan. Kuro will now live a life in retierment in teh grass and sunshine of Tennessee. I had the pleasure of seeing one of his sons at the 2002 Tournament while in Japan. Kuro's offspring have immense drive, stability and are incredibly intelligent.

Hiroki dressing 8th Hara Jo for the last time. This was a very emotional moment for Hiroki and I. I am just pleased that I can give 8th Hara Jo a peaceful place to live the rest of his days for Hiroki.
8th Hara Jo is now 8 in 2002.

When the dressing is completed the Yokozuna is carried into the ring so as to not get the valuable robes dirty. This is a tradition.
