Several years back Gina and her husband contacted me about buying a black female. Having them fill out an application and building a relationship I felt that they would provide a great home. Over the period of about two years I sold them on a co-ownership basis 5 Tosas. I helped them move from Detroit, Michigan to Knoxville, TN. Located there house for them and found the best school system in there area for thier children. After being here for just a couple months she quite making the payments on the dogs. After giving her several months to catch up, I hired a attorney.

This is when I would have no idea the situation that my dogs have been in. I started to gain evidence in case of a court battle and came across some very disturbing information. I received a judgment to hold the dogs until the final case had a judgment. When I went to retrieve the dogs, the local police department escorted me in case of trouble. I had also work with this policeman doing drug and bite work on a k-9 in thier unit. The police knew my love for my dogs. While there and dealing with the Taylor's for over three hours the police gave them two alternatives, one: go to jail or two : give up the dogs.

After getting home I viewed the scope of the neglect and abuse. During the next couple weeks would be truly emotional. When I went back to court with the information that I had gathered the judge gave me a $26,000.00 judgment and my dogs back. This is a landmark case. This case took allot out of me seeing my dogs in such a condition. If there is any one out there that is going through this, feel free to contact me for help or information.
