Hello all, Michelle Jones/French of Stonewall Tosa decided to take it upon herself to copy our original work on one of our webpages, specifically our tosa rescue page. She copied all of the pictures, the same wording ( colors, fonts, borders, graphics, etc. ), and decided to put it on her website with a copyright on it. She also took it upon herself to link all of these pictures and hyperlink it to our webpage, this means first off, copyright infringement ( she did not have permission to do so ) and also bandwidth theft. She did all of this without our permission. I have gladly given many others permission to use our work on their websites, with first obtaining our permission. Our website only has so much bandwidth per hour and by hyperlinking and using our bandwidth this greatly limits our website. This whole ordeal started when I had emailed Michelle and asked her to please remove Molly and King from her website as they had both been adopted and were no longer available. She emailed me back asking what tosas were available through our rescue group, so I emailed her the link to my tosa rescue page to give her an idea of what tosas were available. We greatly appreciated that Michelle was willing to place our rescue tosas on her website to help with exposure for a common goal. It takes a lot of time, resources and money. It is great that people want to post for us but we are the ones paying for and caring for each one of these dogs with no help. Everytime we go over bandwidth on our website it costs us more money, that is money out of the rescue dogs mouths. I never gave her permission to copy our work. After seeing what Michelle had done I emailed her asking that she remove our work from her website, that request was not answered. I hope that one day you could try and work with others for the betterment of the breed. You twist words and took actions upon yourself to try and make Operation K9 Rescue, Inc. and Straw Dog?s B.A. Tosa look bad in the public?s eye, when in fact it was YOU that took it upon YOURSELF and copied our rescue page and was using our bandwidth. I find it very hard to believe that you did this unknowingly. Let?s see, if someone copied one of your pages that you worked very hard on, pay for the Internet space, and placed it on their own website, and marketed it as their own, and placed a copyright on the work, without permission, what you would do?
